Romney's smugness screams to the world that he does not care

Like the BP executive who came on tv (after they killed 11 in the Gulf) to "convince" Americans they "care about the SMALL people."

Romney wants us to think he is one of us when he probably has to take Pepto Bismol to keep from vomiting when he has to mingle with the "average" American voter.

Shit, he wouldn't set foot in a Sears or JC Penny's, if it would save his life. He has car elevators!
Hell, one of his wife's dressage horse costs more than my 3 bedroom house...

Romney looks on us with disdain and contempt, we do not count. We are the "help" that is all we are to him. We are a necessary nuisance he has to endure to win the White House.

He could be suffering from father envy
Trying to out do his father

Father: Executive, governor, tried to be president

Willard: Executive, governor, trying to be president

Can you imagine what a hero of the faith he would become, to accomplish what Joseph Smith set out to do before his death from lead poisoning.

He is just going through the motions. He worked harder during the repugnantcan primary than he will
during the presidential race. His likability is low, even among anglos, but at his core he knows whites
will vote for him and not President Obama. Mittens presidency will be the final nail in the coffin for
middle class americans but if they're white they will vote for him nonetheless. That is why he is so smug.

we are now in a era where it is also going to take the minority vote to carry the day for Democratic candidates. All minorities. Aside: how soon can we stop calling them minorities because they will actually be the majority? Soon I hope.

No, give me a nice simple, humble person who has not been infected by the trappings of wealth, like John Kerry, Al Gore or my beloved former Senator, Ted Kennedy. I'm sure all are/were regular regular Sears shoppers.

The problem with RMoney isn't that he's rich, or even his disdain for the "small people". It's that his plans for America are not good for most Americans (or almost anyone else for that matter).

When I read the names Kerry, Gore, and then Kennedy my jaw dropped open further with each one.

When I read the word "ego" upthread, my first thought was DUH. Ego is the ONLY reason anyone in the last 40 years has wanted to be President...
