They should be able to put them in touch with a charity doing that sort of thing--if that's even happening these days. Most people use the computer and do the Vonage-ish deal to call home.

... who passed out free cards pre-deployment. I'm pretty sure it was the USO. They always seem to have stuff like that on hand.
