This guy that was born on home plate and was told he hit a home run?

This fellow that squeezed jobs out of American companies, took them overseas, then pocketed a big portion of the profits for himself?

This politician that will go whichever way the wind blows and will follow the Bush taxcuts with even deeper cuts for himself and his wealthy travelers?

This successful "businessman" that puts a $12 million dollar addition onto his home in ritzy La Jolla, CA - with an elevator to take his numerous cars to and from his basement?

This giggly, out-of-touch capitalist thief that believes the homeless and the very poor don't need any help because there is a "safety net" for them?

This poor fellow that had to use his Wall Street investments to help pay his way thru college and now tells college students they should borrow the money they need for their education from their parents?

Is this the best you can do? If not, how did you end up with such a loser? Who twisted your arm? Must you put America thru another painful ordeal? When are you going to wake up and take responsibility for your votes?

Mitt Romney was as close as they could get to a guaranteed loss while still trying to look serious. TPTB are very happy with the current arrangement. They get their legislation signed into law and they get to blame a Dem for it.

If you were in their shoes how hard would you fight to change things?

You may be right.

The thing about voters is that a majority won't "get it" until the damage has been done. Then they throw up their hands and say "what can we do?" To many people just ignore whats going on, even when they know things are getting harder and harder. Instead of taking an hour to learn about our leaders or election choices, they'll tune in to the teevee and watch amateur singers humiliate themselves in an attempt to ignore the changing times.

I wonder how much voting would change if there were 10 mandatory general election debates broadcast on the 4 major networks at the same time, with a mandatory blackout of every other channel on the cable and satellite boxes during the presentation. Force the plebes to spend at least 10 hours every 4 years listening to the differences between their choices before they go cast their vote.

and door to door salesmanship in the streets. They are used to doing that work, and this will be a holy crusade with church backing. Plus money, tons and tons of the stuff...that's a dangerous combination in my book.

8. Watching The Freepers Melt Down...

...their answer is No. While most of the great unhinged are delusional on whom they think would be the "best" candidate, they all seem to agree that they don't like Mittens. However we're starting to see them fall into line (as usual) as their hatred of President Obama and all things Democratic trump their "principals". It's power at all costs...even if it means supporting the epitome of greed.

My hopes are a number of them either stay home or support Goode (the "Constitutional" party...their Nader) and that there a 5-10% drop off of rushpublican votes that can make a big difference not only in President Obama winning a second term but could help elect Democrats to the House and Senate.

The bottom line is the rushpublican cupboard is bare. What we saw on display during the clown car demolition derby that was their primary season is a party detached from reality with "leadership" that is even more delusional. Rmoney is the most "electable" but that's not saying much as the party has been co-opted by the teabaggers, the SuperPacs and the neo-cons. There is no acceptable candidate in a corrupt and inept party that has marginalized itself and is now sowing the seeds of a complete implosion in the near future...

the same sorts of things were considered with the ascendence of Reagan. Underestimating the power of the Democrats to wreck themselves and/or the proud ignorance of a huge segment of the voting population will always keep a totally anti-worker party always on the radar.

they know their dirty laundry would come out in the media. I'm sure of that. I mean, how many of them have already outed in one way or another. Me thinks they protest too much. We know how hypocritical they are. They all have dirty little secrets they are afraid would be found out. that's what I think.
