A few questions about the taxes Apple did not pay?

It was reported that Apple chose to move its offices to Nevada so they would not have to pay taxes in California. Reportedly, they saved $2.4 billion dollars! It was all legal.

Could California have used that money?

Why should companies like Apple get a $2 billion tax cut while state governments are cutting programs nationwide? Is that fair?

Why should food stamps and programs for the poor and needy be cut so Steve Jobs could make an extra couple of billion dollars?

Why should people like Mitt Romney hide their fortunes in foreign banks to keep from paying taxes while spending is being cut at the federal level? There is something very smelly about this whole situation...
