CPAC at it's most vile. Nigel Farage gets a star speaking slot

That's right ladies and gentlemen, Nigel Farage, the leader of UKIP. The first Brit to ever speak at CPAC. David Cameron has never been invited, nor has London Mayor Boris, though I guess Margaret Thatcher's ghost was unavailable in previous years.
Nigel will speak between Sarah Palin and a reception by the NRA - nothing says 'Meet the Crazies' like that.
The leader of UKIP, and possibly the next MP from Thanet South; the latest poll taken has him in 1st, followed by Labour, then the Tories. Though, to be fair, the poll was financed by Alan Brown, a long standing UKIP supporter. The poll taken a week earlier has Labour in 1st, with UKIP nibbling on their heels. The one thing the two polls share, the Tories are in 3rd. (The Tories presently hold the Thanet South seat)

To make it a truly memorable trip for the leader of Britain's fringe right politics, he was interviewed on Fox where he got asked about Islam, mosques and all sorts of things that scare Fox viewers.
Rest assured, according to Farage, Britain is an historic Judeo-Christian country (ask the Judeo part about the Edict of Expulsion in 1290. Though in fairness, many Jews fled to the UK during WWI and II. I doubt Farage would have let them in during WW I (I'll give him benefit on WW II)
He indirectly accused the Tories and Labour of 'appeasing' Islamic Extremists -- ask any Muslim who has been harassed by M15 and the police if they agree.

But, we can get a warm fuzzy knowing that Farage isn't 'anti-anything'. They're just pro-Britain. They don't hate Muslims, or other cultures or GLBT or anything like that.
Though, Tom Booker resigned from UKIP. He was the chair of Ukip’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender group and he resigned because of concerns over party leadership failing to set a gay friendly tone.

Here is the link to his resignation letter in the Guardian

I'd like to say I'm surprised. Or that I feel sorry for him. But... come on... UKIP??? The closest thing you get to the crazy wing of the Nazi Party as possible without actually changing their name to UKCNP (United Kingdom Crazy Nazi Party).
If it were 1930 and he were in Germany, he'd probably be Chair of the Nazi Party GLBT group.

On edit: Ole Tom opposes Gay Marriage because of... you know... religious freedom
CPAC invited Farage??? I'm sure he and Santorum are best buds.

I can see how he got booked. Farage (and his massive ego) are quite the media attraction.
