They're appeasing it...just like they appeased the fascists in Beijing by making it impossible to link to anything involving the word "democracy".
Google is all about the sellout.

They get it that Harper doesn't want Canadians to see anything pro-worker...so they do what he wants.
Same with Spain, most likely(it's risky to get on the wrong side of the successor party to Franco's Phalange, which is what the so-called "Popular Party" is).
