This is pretty good. To bad he is on HBO, he would have been a good replacement for John Stewart.

to replace Jon Stewart.

Still stings that he isn't going to.

2. He's fabulous. He probably has a longer leash on HBO than Comedy Central would provide,

given it's a basic cable channel. Isn't it crazy that in the U.S. you can't get useful news analysis on TV unless you're watching a comedy show? Even prime time MSNBC focuses more often on the horse races of politics than news that helps us.

3. It is kind of strange. I learn more from watching John Oliver's show than I do watching any other

program.

4. Yes i think the format of the Daily Show wouldn't allow long form work that Oliver is
