(735 posts)Reminds me of an incident with my daughter. A boy called her a fat cow, and she replied "that may be, but at least I'm not going to be asking do you want fries with that when I graduate! " She got in trouble for fighting which occured after that comment! I couldn't be mad at her. I never come up with good comments on the fly.

(10,597 posts)Cute inside and out. She's going to go far, because she is ON her feet. She can defend herself. Whatever style of parenting she is getting, they need to keep it up. What confidence!

(11,012 posts)little boy calling her ugly, hurt her. She had a hard time getting that "ugly" word out.
I'd like to give her a hug and tell her she's beautiful, because she is, inside and out.

Too bad kids don't really realize how their cruel words can hurt.

(46,736 posts)First of all, she's cute as a button and will definitely break more than a few hearts when she gets older.
Second, DAAAANGG! She has more self-confidence at four than I have at my harridan age.

(34,582 posts)little boys tend to pick on the girls they have crushes on. It doesn't make sense, but that is what they do.
