"CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Residents in a Charlotte neighborhood say they are fed up with a neighbor they say stands at the front door of his home naked, but police say he's not doing anything illegal. People in the Cardinal Glen neighborhood in north Charlotte say the man has been doing this for nearly ten years and on Friday, they called police again. “I was out rolling the trash can on Friday and I just happened to look over there and he was standing there buck naked,” neighbor Pecolia Threatt said. Neighbors say the man just stands there naked at his door several times a week. They're disgusted and fed up." He'd just stand there. When he had to pee, he'd just pee.
I could see over the fence, but our kids were small and they couldn't. I don't think they'd have been too alarmed if they could. They already knew our neighbor was an odd, eccentric, person, and so far as I know, he was harmless. I talked to him a few times and he was really sad. Not only was he a Vietnam vet, his oldest son had been killed in a drug deal that went bad.

The guy is inside his own home. The busybodies should butt out. I used to have a neighbor who would complain to high hell about the fact that she could see into my backyard from her kitchen window, and she'd frequently see my wife, myself, or our friends naked in our backyard. One day I was offered three Italian Cypress trees dirt cheap (friend is a landscaper and they were leftover from a job) and I thought of her. I took the bushes to her house and offered to plant them outside of her window. When she indignantly asked why she should plant trees on HER property, I responded, "Because I don't have a problem with me being naked in my own backyard. You do." We had the trees planted about 10 minutes later. After that, we got along swimmingly  |
