"The other kids did it too"

We've been teaching our teenager, for more than a decade, that this is not an excuse. My guess is that most other parents do the same.

Why is this a bull@$%& excuse for child's behavior, but perfectly acceptable for a national political figure?

Another thing I'll just never understand, I suppose.

That's what makes them so awesomely transcendent - imagine what can be done without pesky rules, laws, and ethics! The possibilities are limitless! Imagine being able to do away with human rights problems worldwide, by merely making a series of regular half-million-dollar contributions to the Clinton Foundation! Why, we could make human rights problems disappear completely in no time! What other prospective candidate could boast such accomplishments?

She didn't understand children's psychology and that the answer is "yes".

of "is" is. I suppose one could call it an art.

"Jeb did it."

Well, then I guess "our" kid is just that much more like Jeb.

But then we knew that.

How very special.

that principles are evil in a pathetic attempt to rationalize self-serving corruption.

Like Walmart, the Party markets itself as "good value" but the chaos they create selling us cheap plastic shit ends up costing everything we own.

As cynical as I am about the personal ambitions of our leadership, I never thought I would live to see the day where self-proclaimed Democrats rally to defend torture, citizen surveillance, Wall Street amnesty, insurance companies writing public policy, etc while the US Sec. of State runs a private email system susceptible to hackers and foreign agents outside any approved archival system.

It would not be surprising if one day some script kiddie from Ukraine publishes all her emails.

The arrogance is far beyond anything I could have imagined but should have expected given the legacy.

Quite a few are terrified of what might occur if the Republicans control both congressional chambers as well as the executive, and that doesn't even consider the very real possibility of appointing one or more people to the Supreme Court. It's not a total "by any means necessary" mentality but it make it easier to turn a blind eye and overlook flaws.

In the case of Ms. Clinton (I'm assuming that this is your main contention) the most common argument in her favor is that she's the best chance we have at winning, and less a strong argument on specific policies that they have in common with her, not that they don't exist. In today's low attention-span world name recognition is a very important commodity for someone running for president the campaign of President Obama clearly showed how many of our citizens are low-information voters and easily swallow up heck watch those late night show "man on the street" segments where people can't even name the Vice-President in 2014 or thinking that Pres. Obama had a birthday parade and pardoned the same number of felons as his age.

manner on economic justice, police brutality, Israel and war posturing make her a very foolish choice, forced on us.

Only the laziest argue that it's so much easier if we simply let Wall Street pick our candidates.
