I have zero faith in the American electorate.

When the right runs a crazy person, they win. When they run a moderate they lose.

While there was much agreement that they were crazy, I don't recall anyone saying they didn't have a chance to win. Cruz doesn't even have a chance to win the republican primary.

Who had no chance to win right up until he did in a massive landslide.

Bush the Lesser was also considered too stupid and extreme to win before he bought the primaries in 2000.

We need to be careful is all I'm saying.

My brother is a republican and even he thinks Cruz is nuts. As my brother put it, "He's decent at tossing bombs, but if they put him in charge of the gunpowder he'll blow them all up".

I think, in the end, the Republican money men will see him as too much of a loose cannon, rather than a useful stooge to do their bidding, and won't give him enough money to overcome his obvious failings. More likely, though, is they'll just flat out dump their money into someone else that will be sure to "play ball", like Jeb Bush.

The republicans will spend their next few months trying to out-crazy each other while the eventually candidate stays largely out of the fray. The big donors like this because it makes their candidate look like a "sensible alternative" by comparison come primary time.

They're tired of falling for the okie doke, they want the most conservative guy possible. I don't think all the money in the world is going to help Jeb Bush. The model is broken.

Walker might get through, he's got cred with the dummies but it's not going to be a "moderate" this time.

Head of the FBI. Joe Arpaio gets the job done regardless..........

Head of the CIA: Darrell Issa, facts don't deter this go getter in his zeal for the minutia of the story.
