Wisconsin Republicans abandoning Scott Walker
http://wcmcoop.com/2015/03/29/wisconsin-republicans-abandoning-scott-walker/
On March 25, 2015, former editor of the Waukesha Freeman and conservative Pete Kennedy published an opinion piece in the paper urging Wisconsin conservatives to not only reject Scott Walker, but to hold him accountable for the damage he has done to the state.
cantstandusKennedy is not the only Wisconsin Republican abandoning Scott Walker. Recently extremists in the party, including Rep. Robin Vos (R-63) and Sen. Tom Tiffany (R-12), began questioning Walker’s latest budget, which drastically cuts money for public education, eliminates essential programs for the disabled and elderly that allow them to stay in their homes, increases bonding for transportation and roads, and slashes $300 million from the UW System. Even Walker’s staunch defender Wisconsin Reporter is remaining silent about recent information that has emerged about Walker’s alleged $1.5 million pay-to-play scheme involving Menards’ president John Menard Jr. Kennedy’s piece vividly describes how Walker has indeed betrayed even his loyal extremists. Kennedy appears to understand that Walker has been lying to them (and the rest of the state) all along. “Given recent events, I’m not convinced he ever really loved you,” he opines, “but if believing so makes you feel better, then by all means do so.” More at the link.

7. Notice that the Rethugs that are squeeling are from
districts with high unemployment and voters living at or below the poverty line. You think maybe the feedback might be a bit hot especially after Snoty Scotty wiped out their low income heating allowances. That and SNAP cuts as well as the new Real Estate Tax increases that are on the way. One of our Bagger Rellies up North was bitching and complaining about not getting his Gobment Heating Money and he blames it on Obama. Yah right. Got a hunch the Tribes are a bit pissed at these folks. Don't think any Rethug will get Tribal Money again.

27. I'm not getting too excited.
The right wing Koch addicts have not completed the ALEC agenda yet by a long ways. There is still a lot of public land to sell and a lot of mining regulations to eliminate. No, my friends, we still have a lot of crap to absorb before this ends. In my red area the people I have talked to have never heard of the Menard deal. Ignorance is bliss.

29. Generally speaking I'm with You in this opinion.
Yet there is some hope. Feingold is back in WI. The John everlasting Doe investigation is continuing. Some info supposed to be secret is coming out--->like the Menards pay to play deal. Gogebic Taconite Mine Co. closed their office in Hurley WI. Some folks are waking up. Spring brings some hope.
Still Wisconsin is in such bad shape that we def need more than this. |

31. Taking on the UW-Madison was NOT bright on his part -
he went straight up against the best brains in the state & they fired back. Basically they responded with "Fine - cut the budget and we will close all the small campuses around the state" (and there go all those support jobs - small cities would be devastated). The people of Wisconsin heard that and knew it was correct. UW-Madison is an amazing institution and it will be around far longer than Scott Walker.

34. All the failed Republican Governors want to be President, Jindal, Walker, Christie, Perry, etc.
They all have bankrupt the state treasuries. None are fit to be even a Governor, let alone President. If voters elect a Republican has President in 2016, this nation will be a complete failure in jobs, economics, massive wars, etc. The Republicans just want power to say NAY to anything. The 2016 election is most critical for the survival of the United States. People and those that can vote must get real smart and say NO to the Republicans both state wide and federal.
so called Leaders McConnell and Speaker Boehner has shown this nation and the people how incompetent the Republicans are. Withholding the vote on next AG Lynch shows they will trash this country before they will help it. Republicans are for total destruction. |

36. Recent revelations & his conduct since being reelected just confirm evey one of Mary Burke's points
From the debates.
Scotty denied having an overwhelming compulsion to be POTUS. He claimed he would serve Wi faithfully for his term. He is clutching at the presidency like a final stage heroin addict rifles his dead friends pockets. His concept of faithfulness, hidden agendas, willingness to bend the truth, and obsessive selfishness, would cause me great concern were I married to him. Mary pointed out our budget would have a gaping hole in it (1.2 bil); Scotty denied. We have a 1.8b hole in it and Scotty wants to reward his masters with new tax cuts. He guts state governmental programs (except the payback mechanisms). Side note: This year my city didn't plow secondary streets until the end of the year. They usually only plowed main streets after the snowstorm had passed or it was nearing it's end. Very little salt was spread. Before snowstorms (2 or3 days), occasionally trucks would spray a liquid on the roads. considering the effect it had during the snowfall, I suspect it was Mt Dew. |

for exactly as long as he needs them. After that point, they become worthless.
I used to be very skeptical of the assertions some have made that SKW is a sociopath.
