It amazes me how a food critic who had nothing to add on

chopped Canada is now on Shark Tank! He has never supported anyone on Shark Tank except to critcize them. Guess money rules and an entrepreneur has no hopes when that SOB is a Shark!

I may be wrong but that is my opinion!

1. As you know, commercial TV is about sponsors and sponors are about numbers of viewers. Ratings rule.

I never understood how Shark Tank lasted this long anyway, but they probably put him on because they think he might attract viewers.

I find that odd.

People have connections get to be on shows.

BTW, I love Governor Granholm, and it was only after I met her that I saw the clip of her on the Dating Game.

chunk of '78 money, my friend who was on before me won a huge chuck of 78 Bucks. Later, mid eighties, I knew a woman who was employed as a 'Dating Game Chaperone', paid to go with the winning couples (who usually did not see it as a date) on their prize outings.
I know several people who have gone on game shows. The fact is one thing you do not want is a connection to a game show. It disqualifies a person as a contestant.

But that one might circulate in the right groups or otherwise have chances that joe blow in Indiana wouldn't.

Early gameshows often features actors before they were actors because they were always in the neighborhood, looking for exposure.

The selection process for game show contestants was not a random as it was presented to be.

Former contestants: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Vanna White, Farrah Fawcett, Sally Field, John Ritter, were among the big names who were contestants.

A society that puts this man on Shark Tank is not one worthy of the dignity of our support!

Fight the power!

5. Fight them best by refusing to deliver a passive, warm body to their sponsors.

It starts with each one of us. We refuse to let those jerks into our homes, they'll eventually dry up and blow away.

Personally, since TCM has decided to suck lately, I am watching DVDs tonight. If it sucks again tomorrow, I'll be listening to good music. One of these days, I might even get a Netflicks account or see what movies I can stream on Amazon. Anything's better than "reality" shows on network TV. They all suck necrotic warthog balls.

They erupted on the scene during the actor and screen writer strikes. The producers love them because they are cheep and the rubes flock to them giving high ratings. I have never watched more than 5 minutes of any of these kind of shows. There is little or no reality in them as they really are scripted.

There is more reality to be found in unabashed good fiction.

Main because I figured "Hey this Donald Trumps a total nutbar. Maybe if he's encouraged he'll get into politics."

Other than that scripted TV is where it is at.

12. Off topic- any idea why Justin Trudeau supports bill C-51?

This Trudeau seems like the Canadian version of Hope and Change.
Maybe he can get elected talking about pot- and people will ignore this horrible bill.

If he did, I sure am not supporting him!

Off topic or not, this is important to discuss.

I am more into supporting Mulcair as Harper has been fucking with Canada for a long time! I am an NDP person as I support Unions. This loser Harper and his acolytes across Canada are trying to get rid of Unions!

We have the same problems like you do in the US and if Harper had his way, medicare would go away in a heart beat. The millionaires support him and they benefit.
