Big Sugar Pay 50 "Tea Party ACTORs" To Protest Against Proposed Land Deal They Know Nothing About.

FLORIDA POLITICS

‘Tea party’ protest against proposed land deal mostly actors

Protestors chant, "Stop the waste", during a rally against the buying land from U.S. Sugar south of Lake Okeechobee on April 2, 2015 at the South Florida Water Management headquarters in West Palm Beach, Florida. (Brianna Soukup / Palm Beach Post)
More than 50 actors from a Broward County acting group were paid $75 each to protest outside the South Florida Water Management District on Thursday about a controversial land deal they knew little about.

The protest was called by the Tea Party of Miami and Florida Citizens Against Waste, a recently formed group that has no contact information on its website and is not registered to do business in Florida.

My guess is that most Tea Party rallies are staged by paid actors who need spelling lessons.

These corporations and their tools are shameless.

so that families, community organizers and other interested persons with knowledge could not testify in a case that was stealing public assets and services which out of state lobbyists and corporations expected to profit off of with the ruling.

Thousands of people working year around to make the case, going door to door, traveling long distances to organize, investigating and finding all the agendas and whose payroll they were on, getting the help of experts, petitions signed and thousands of untold hours put in.

Going to legislatures, courts, newspapers with letters to the editor, emailing, calling, getting petitions signed, calling and contacting other venues to save the Commons and public jobs.

And media was on their side, not the side of the Commons.

All outwitted by the brazen act of bringing unfortunate people to use as place holders, who knew nothing about the issues to deny the community a chance to talk. I am too familiar with this.

What they did there in Florida was much more above board, nearly honest, compared to what I have seen, but still the same corrupt business practice.

It's very hard to fight, even if you have thousands of people on your side, when big money runs the media and will not tell your side of the story. Since then, we have lost the last of the progressive venues here to conservative owners, whereas before we had some honest, caring journalists.

The fight is no longer public, and they have won over too much of the legislature who are on the payroll. There are a few old stalwarts to resist, but they are being shut out of discussions by the paid groups who claim to be for equality... it's a heart breaking paradox when money is passing hands at the rate it is. And when the SHTF, they are not there to clean up the aftermath or bury the dead, as they aren't paid for that.

The younger ones who have tried to follow in the footsteps of defenders to save schools, union jobs, public services, etc. are outnumbered by the Tea Party and CTers who want everything gone. The Libertarians are stealing everything here, from the ground up.
