U.S. Female Vet Now Hunts Elephant Poachers & Park Ranger Killers

Many a worthy cause gets presented to me, as a guy who fights ebol everywhere. Sad to say, there's plenty of wicked doings that need to be undone. One such item is the killing of endangered species by "Poachers". A new warrior in such noble battles is the former U.S. Army veteran Kinessa Johson

[br]
Kinessa is working with VetPaw (VETERANS Empowered to Protect African Wildlife). According to a reflection quoted by IdealistRevolution.org online item "Poachers Hunt Endangered African Animals and this Woman Hunts the Poachers"- Kennes Johnson stated;
[br]

We’re going over there to do some anti-poaching, kill some bad guys, and do some good.

[br]
Killing Animal Killers Who Also Kill Park Rangers
[br]
At first glance, moi was taken aback by the notion of one human hunting other humans. That was - until - I learned that the poachers also kill Park Rangers who get in their way. For, as it turns out, Kinessa and other veterans are there to train African Park Rangers to protect themselves, while also patrolling for the poachers.

Last year Africa lost 187 Park Rangers seeking to protect Elephants and Rhinos.
[br][br][br]
Kinessa Johnson - You GO Girl - and so does VetPaw!
[br]
Turns out that - along with the Idealist Revolution online thread and VetPaw, Kinessa Johnson (pic above and below provided by IdealistRevolution.org) also has Facebook and Instagram pages. On Facebook, Kinessa has many thousands of followers. Ms. Johnson is doing noble work and VetPaw has found a wonderful way to put our Veterans abilities to good use.

It's noble work and has considerable risk - VetPaw and You Go Girl!
[br]
As remarked upon by the VetPaw person - they are there to be a counter - already reducing poachings;

It’s really awesome to see men and women like Johnson who have served their country now serving the world by protecting some of its most precious resources. When asked if her or her team had killed any poachers yet in a Q & A on Reddit she stated,

“We don’t operate with the intent to kill anyone.”

The African poachers would be well advised no to test this All-American badass on that though.

Between you and I, this is one sexy babe.....

Poachers need to be stopped, and if it takes killing them, then so be it. I have NO sympathy for assholes who can shoot animals for voodoo sources or for Ivory, or skins. The US should step in and put troops in these areas just to scare the poachers off.

Killing the rangers, of course. Also threats, thefts, and murder against local people.

And then you remember that there is absolutely no reason, none to class creatures like elephants or the apes as "below" humans when it comes to the concept of murder. They grieve. Literal, stand-there-for-days mourning.

These poachers aren't just killing and terorrizing their fellow humans, but are outright committing genocide against some of earth's other sentient beings. All to fuel a taste for stringy meat in the larger cities, and the belief that proboscidean teeth will give you a stiffer dick.

Said better than I could have. Elephants are among the most incredible creatures on this Earth. They deserve every bit of respect we give to each other.

Correction: every bit of respect we should give each other.

A child who kills animals just to watch them die is considered to have a mental illness.

When adults to the same thing, it is acceptable behavior.

It is "acceptable" to the same bigots and sellouts that seek to take away rights and pollute the planet to death.

Those who "accept" bad behavior as A okay, are also bad themselves!

In many areas, even a threatened species can over populate and wreak havoc on the land and thereby, other flora and fauna. In the U. S., trophy hunting plays a role in ecological balance. And this stuff about children killing something to watch it die is often a child acting out a hunting instinct. A lot of kids pop a bird with a BB gun, and regret it later when they see it does not fit in with killing to survive (something we All do, one way or another). I would certainly not want you to be in charge of determining the mental health of children.

Note also, that a "trophy" animal is usually at the end of its reproductive life, having spread its genetics throughout its range. It either dies of old age, or is taken down by a predator (man is but one). Either way, it consumes and over-uses the countryside.

Anyone who poaches should be brought to the bar, but eliminating the practice ( which you don't define) merely puts fewer eyes in the field to spot the murderous, armed bandits who are not so squeamish about the subject.

It's already defined by Africa (which I'm pretty sure is an expert on its own country) - what is Poaching

The party (Dawson Leery) made a comment I understood that

kids who kill animals readily appear to need help

but that (I guess in twisted cases) adults are deemed acceptable.

People who "analyze" murderers, point to a history of animal cruelty. But the vast number of children who engage in the act do not "build" on it, esp. when they are corrected. I hunt many times a year and pass by many species to find what I want to kill and eat -- one was a 10 pt. buck I consider a trophy. Right nice one. All in a fair chase, low fence, and legal hunt.

Hostilities: There is an ocean in DU.

There are many organizations working to help local governments deal with this problem. They're working hard at it. Support them.

That's how. Going over there and shooting people isn't how you do it. In actual fact, this young woman's probably not going to get anywhere near the problem. That would be my guess.

But everyone gets it wrong - about the Bible (which adopts our yiddish 10 sayings into commandments)

It literally states "Thou Shalt Not Murder".

Killing in self defense isn't murder.

And (as remarked twice now) the girl is on the record stating she's not out to kill; but to deter...
