I am a bit upset

Cindi a Lauper's Go Fund Me campaign for homeless GLBT youth has only raised 136 thousand dollars which is nothing to sneeze at........but

The pizza joint made 859 thousand and Joel Osteen was robbed 600 thousand from a weekend collection. Found out that is peanuts compared to holiday weekends. My attitude towards this is that Joel is crying about it but his insurance will probably pay it to him so no loss to him.

America priorities are so messed up.

homeless I guess is not glamorous to donate to.

This is not directed to DU population at all who care about homeless and Cindi Loaper's charity work.

Vent over until next subject of inequality or something else that is screwed up.

However, if it is Scott Woolidge please don't donate (unless you want too...lol) because it is not Cindy Lauper's fund.

One comment might explain why the Pizza Guy raised so much money. Fox has apparently been promoting it. I wonder if Rachel or someone on MSNBC might promote this fund? Cindy would make a guest I think.

Thanks for helping get it out there!

Read the good website, and will donate thru it, or a gofundme link here. In my post today about Julian Castro & Homeless LGBT in Salon I included info. about Cyndi's work and a link to the group. With her energy and connections I'm surprised the fundraising isn't higher, but we'll see what we can do!

Fox so that probably accounts for the money he made.

With only Social Media so far, Cindi has raised over $126,000. Maybe she get on CNN or MSNBC, Rachel or one of the other Liberal hosts?

And even if they did; we live in a country with over three hundred twenty MILLION people. There will never be a situation where everyone leans the same way in the fashion that seaweed does when the tide turns.

They believe that the homeless are not worthy of medical care and since nobody is willing to take them into their household it means that nobody cares whether they live or not. Social Darwinism is applied to the extreme.

I know we're doing OK but it should be so much higher at this point.

If those "Christian" pizza people actually gave a shit about people, they would make a huge donation. If for no other reason than to prove they care about homeless children and aren't the money grubbing pos asswipes they are
