Hillary.... Nah, this is a post about the world's first robot chef

Too bad it only has one dish in its repertoire- crab bisque.

This is the world’s first robotic kitchen prototype and this robot can only produce crab bisque at the moment.

<snip>

All the ingredients are placed on the worktop and the robot’s operator then presses the start button in the personal computer that operates the robot. The robot then copies the steps of the 2011 MasterChef winner Tim Anderson.

<snip>

Everything must be positioned correctly if anything is misplaced then instead of cream it will pick up crab and if the saucepan is located a little bit far then it will grab air molecules.

<snip>

The company is planning to produce robotic arms cheaply so that they can sell a complete Robotic Kitchen for £110,000 or $14,600. (clearly they meant $140,600., but it looks like the copy editor is about as proficient as the robot chef)
