For Hillary's running mate -- Sherrod Brown

Of course, Hillary does not yet have the nomination, so it's a bit early to speculate. But what the hell. I'm going to get in my two cents right now and say that the Democratic Senator from Ohio, Sherrod Brown, is perhaps the best running mate she could pick. (Hell, I'd like to see him at the top of the ticket.)

I won't put his full background here, but he's really smart, charismatic, liberal, soft spoken, physically attractive, (more people than you can imagine are swayed by "attractive&quot , and a Democrat with a capital D.

So what do you think? Too early for a HILLARY/BROWN bumper sticker?

But wasted on Hillary.

In speaking of Sherrod's...remember Shirley Sherrod? Sorry to bring up a Presidential "oops", but someone should let her get some national level work done: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shirley_Sherrod

Is he popular enough in OH to be able to win the state for HRC?

Heard from brooklynite (On the boards) and a high ranking national Democratic Party member in NJ (at a fund raiser) - He's not running in any way shape or form for that office.

But he would be my flawless Presidential Candidate. Thing is -

He doesn't have the ego that I think one needs to run for that office.

But the Democrats have, and always have had, a deep bench of serious contenders.

I can see where there are more coming in the future years. Sometimes when I hear comments made by GOP officials I just wonder how these people do basic chores daily.

for top of the ticket, but Connie says "no." They would be an awesome, truly populist couple for the Whitehouse. I can dream......

Who goes first with their convention?

Her choice will be at least partly a function of what the Republicants are doing.

I'd also prefer him at the top of the ticket. With or without Hillary.

And *** in honor of a certain thread yesterday *** I will point out that I am far more likely to refer to Sherrod's wife by her last name than I am to refer to Sherrod that way.

Using a first name for a female politician is not always sexist. Sometime's it's just honoring their preferences.

that you are referring to Bill or Hillary. A way out is do what I do and refer to her as HRC.
