In a red state like Indiana, even the Democrats vote for Republican legislation

we might think that Democrats at the State House are on our side Right? There were 5 Democrats that voted for the repeal of the Common Wage law.So we think we have friends at the State House but do we really?
Another Koch Bros (ALEC funded effort to demolish the middle class. This repeal was written by the Koch Bros and the only difference between this bill and other similar bills is they just enter the state name as they move through the Midwest.
This bill moves to the Republican controlled State Senate for a vote.

The thing about this bill there, are Republicans out there that are supporting this repeal that don't know what the hell (I cleaned it up) they are talking about and don't realize that if this law is repealed it will have an effect on their wages as well.

Yeah. It just boggles the mind why any Democrat would vote for a Republican. eom BlueCaliDem Apr 2015 #1

taking hold in OH and IN. I lived in Dayton and went to IN often. Now I live in CA and happy we have a mostly liberal state. Yet I see Montgomery county in OH still votes Dem.
If Dems are running and voting as repubs the only way to not be effected is to move I think.

oftentimes we don't really know this until they start voting on stuff.

Remember, 40 years ago, when the Republicans started their ground game of putting up local right-wingers to get on school boards, dogcatcher, county commissions, etc.? Now they are all spread around into every state legislature. Lots of them are running as Democrats. They've taken over the whole game while our Dem leaders sat around with their thumbs up their butts.
