but "America is forever indebted" seems awfully ambiguous, coming after a reference to Lincoln's assassination.

"Indebted" for what? His assassination? Seems kind of creepy to me.

made it sound like America was indebted to him for the assassination, or something like that. Basically they f$%ked up the tweet.
