why are these repub candidates talking about Benghazi and HRC?

Rand Paul is talking about this afresh. I don't understand...

I mean, wasn't this investigated by a gazillion congressional committees who concluded that she didn't fail to respond to warnings from the consulate in Libya?

Am I forgetting something here?

Because that's all they've got.

Each one of them knows that Clinton is superior to them. But they will never admit it.

We will hear this, and more for the next decade so get used to it. They got nothing else, they are repukes that's what they do. If they rag on Hillary they don't need to talk about themselves.

9. The GOOP might have an issue, but they're tied to regime change and unable to admit it was a failure

Benghazi leaves the Republicans in a quandry. They actually supported the policy of serial regime change across MENA, but given what happened (the rise of ISIS and the general decline of the region into chaos) they can't find a way to admit the U.S. was involved in arming and organizing the Jihadist militias in Eastern Libyan to fight in Syria, and that spread into regional sectarian warfare.

So, they obsess on made up non-issues, such as a lack of security for an Ambassador who quite consciously shunned it, and crazy-assed notions that the White House somehow intentionally left Stevens hang out to dry.
