Let's show that we are the generous people we claim to be!

"I see this campaign's a flop! So much for outshowing Memories Pizza! LOL #praiseHim"

That is actually a direct quote on the Facebook page for this fundraising project. A woman named Christa Sheehan, and many of those lovely Christians like her, are actually thanking their god that homeless LGBT kids are not receiving donations like Memories Pizza did.

We have 5 days left to match the Misery Pizza gofundme of over a quarter of a million dollars. $842,000+

Please donate if you can. Spread the word. Tweet it. Facebook it. Instagram it. Send it around work, to all your friends and family.

Pizza4equality hasn't received the press that Memories Pizza did. The stories of what are still happening to LGBT kids doesn't draw the attention that some perceived discrimination of religious rights to discriminate does. The fact that LGBT kids are still bullied, kicked from their homes, made to go through harmful "therapy" to "get rid of the gay," doesn't make headlines. So the fund raising is slower to help these kids.

This is a great cause. Cyndi Lauper's True Colors charity is a 501 (c) charity helps LGBT homeless kids. They're trying to beat the donations of over $840k, raised in a couple days for Memories Pizza, by April 29th. We have a long way to go.

Please give if you can. Please spread the word anyway you're able. Let's show how giving we can be.

I just want to get money for this great cause. If we don't match the memories pizza, so what. Just know we can do better than $ 156,295 after 20 days

helping people I actually know. One here, one of our local victims of what I am starting to consider a serious problem. Person ended up with no charges filed by the DA, lost one of his two jobs, and owes the court over $1200. All for driving while black.

folks- regular & well known who support LGBT rights. Perhaps some are already channeled into certain lead groups. I don't have any real contacts in the big philanthropy area. Surely the Go Fund Me site has been picked up by many through social media now.
Just a handful of major donors would help so much. I looked at the Pizza Page and the Colors page layout & wording again after you contacted me & couldn't think of anything to improve on. Must be connections & more time maybe. Hmm.

it would fit onto the 2nd line ok. Something to that affect, or whatever is more accurate & eye catching, eg 'young LGBT kids at risk'. It would emphasize WHO the action is for, in the Main Title. Just a thought-

I try to push, in a small way, awareness of global climate change. Maybe it helps. I hope so.

to check and see how it was doing. I wrote to a couple of talk show hosts asking if they would interview Cindy and linked them to the gofundme site after I saw that post.

Didn't write to Rachel, but I think it would be a good interview for her show.

Maybe if everyone tweeted her she might be interested. I know they are ending the drive in a couple of days. But is there anything stopping someone from starting another one?
