As a native Floridian--I use to get offended by the phrase "Florida Man"

Well not anymore.

I now believe that this is a true phenomenon effecting my beloved state.

It's seems everyday I pop open some Florida news and I'll read that some Florida dude has done something incredibly stupid---like kiss a Mocassin.

Here's today's Florida Man---if you watch the video note how he looks at the Security camera and flips it off.

For about 15 minutes, a thief pushed and dragged a Good Humor ice cream cooler past a clerk who was asleep on the other side of a gas-station window.

Surveillance cameras captured the April 2 theft at Chevron, 1401 E. Commercial Blvd. Footage shows a man walking up to the station at 4:09 a.m. to find the clerk asleep behind the window.

The man, later identified by authorities as Dennis Norman, opened the ice cream cooler as if to make a purchase. He looked closely at the clerk for a minute, then looked directly into the camera and flashed it his middle finger.
