Four Swedish police officers, riding on New York City's 6 train, had to go back to work briefly, in order to subdue two men who were fighting.

While on their way to watch “Les Miserables,” two homeless men started fighting on an uptown 6 train in the middle of rush hour, DNAinfo reports. Witnesses told the news site that the train’s conductor was aware of the fight and remained in the Bleecker Street station, asking over the loudspeakers if there were any police officers on board.

“They were lying on the floor, one on top of the other,” said Stockholm officer Makrus Åsberg, 25. “We got to make sure that nobody gets hurt . . . try to calm them down without hurting them.

This alone is a good evidence what a shange a 3 year university level education - and a 6 mount high-school/college education is... You learn how to treat criminals in a manner where you do no use to mutch violence - or force - and you make it the same way as US police do when they bodyslam you, and in some cases kill you - who is seen as the preferable way of doing things in the US now a days...

And yes - it is swedish police officer - even though their english is better than most police officers in Sweden - they do have that accent nordic pepole tend to have...

33. It would be nice if that were so. But the police I grew up with, and answered calls with on the

streets of the city as a medic were much more like these Swedish police. Most had a high school education, perhaps were Vietnam vets. They were the pre-cursors to all these folks with college hours, the ones now who, if they are not performing bad behaviors are making them possible.

Mostly they didn't act like murdering, rampaging thugs, and shootings were actually news.

The modern racist murdering cop is much more likely to have at least some college education here. And, they are very sharp tactical dressers, so there must either be some training, or perhaps an inner sense of style that is also required.

It is from the small city of Drøbak - outside of Oslo - around Oslofjorden - (who for obvious reasons is the same as the name of the City, who also is the capital of Norway) - and this is not unusual for police to behave like this - as the person who was acting out - possible was a known person - who they had encountered before being drunk.. And as he stated, the poor man - he was from Lofoten - a area in the north of Norway - who by the way have some of the most beautifully views of all of Norway... Just type Lofoten in google - and you would have tonnes of enjoyment too look at some of the best nature Norway have to show everyone who want to discover it...

But up north, they tend to have, somewhat more flavor to the language and some words might be seen as offensive down south - is accepted as natural way of expression... Something even our highest court have stated a few years ago when a police officer who was stationed up north got offensive about the word Hestkuk - who was deemed not to be offensive at all - as it was a natural way of expressing disagreement with something.... But if you use it here in the south of Norway....

At first I misread what happened. Not being familiar with the subway train terminology in NYC, I thought they broke up a fight between 6 people on the train. Even so, they did a great job breaking up a fight between just 2.

They get car thieves, brawls, domestic violence, drunk driving, robberies (including banks).

The difference is our cops act like it's a war zone out there when it's a neighborhood. There is also this notion that if one tries to run or struggle than it's justified to KILL them for DARING to oppose the police. Our cops are looking for any excuse to KILL. One of the latest is the "refusing to follow a lawful order" as if other country's crooks go along quietly.
