This was apparently no ordinary underwear bomb!

It was much more sophisticated. It was crotchless, allowing for the full force of the intended explosion to burst forth, unimpeded by lace and an absorbent cotton panel. And it apparently had a thin reinforced waistband for extra confidence.

It's amazing the bullshit you'll hear when you watch cable news.
