Why Does Clinton Get Blamed for Everything that Obama Does That the Left Does Not Like?

Not a rhetorical question. I keep reading about how "Clinton's State Department" did this or that. Like failing to prosecute banksters. Last I heard, the Department of Justice prosecuted, not the Department of State. Like failing to get us out of Afghanistan. The way I recall it, Obama promised to escalate the war in Afghanistan when he was running in 2008. And a whole bunch of progressive dems supported his plan and voted for him. And the Pentagon ultimately makes military decisions. Like domestic spying---something Cheney started before 9-11 and something for which Obama voted to give telecoms immunity back in 2008. Maybe that 2008 vote was at the behest of Senator Clinton...

No way! Senator Clinton voted against giving the telecoms immunity in 2008! What a Machiavellian bitch. She must have known that she would be running again in 2016 and that the left would attack her and that she would need some (ultimately meaningless) token left leaning votes to make it through the primary. But the vote to authorize the administration to declare war on Iraq, she meant that one. Even though none of the other Dems voting for it (like John Kerry) knew what they were voting for. Clinton knew that it was all a war for oil. She is sooo smart. Smarter than just about anyone except Nixon. And she has a crystal ball, like all witches. I will insert the sarcasm smilie here, because some folks can not take a joke. Here it is.

Even when it is matters of international trade, who really believes that Clinton had veto power over Obama? That she could say to the president "You will do this Barrie, or I'll chain you to the front porch." ? No one. At least, I hope that no one believes that Hillary Clinton is the power behind the POTUS. That would be Michelle. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton worked for President Barrack Obama. Every time you claim that SOS Clinton is responsible for x, y and z, you are also saying that Obama is a figurehead president.

Here's what I think. Obama is still incredibly popular among Democrats. And therefore, people who do not like his policies--including the policies which he stated before the 2008 election and which his ardent supporters voted for when they voted for him---know that they will get nowhere lobbing verbal missiles at the POTUS. So, they lob them at Clinton, who has been the target of a Right Wing Conspiracy since before some of them were born, making her an easy target.

Now, what kind of political writer confines him or herself to going after easy targets for fear of offending readers by criticizing popular political figures? Ones with no political convictions and lots of ambition.

I call them as I see them.

2. It's easier to blame a woman, especially Hillary Clinton, who

is irrationally hated by many progressives. Instead of putting the blame where it goes for non-liberal moves that Obama makes, it's easier to blame her because they already hate her. It's completely ridiculous, and I totally agree that it's because they simply already like Obama and don't want to dislike him. It's that stupid.

And let's not forget that society has been blaming women since the beginning of recorded history. It all started with Eve being blamed for the downfall of men, and society has been blaming women for everything ever since.

As I recall her stint at State she wasn't chained to her desk and could've quit if she disagreed with Obama.

As for the IWR vote. She was either bamboozled by the ever so clever Bush or she voted to have people killed out of political expediency.

You can not neatly divide the Obama administration into 1) everything I like Obama did and 2) everything I hate Clinton did.

And, because of his handling of the ME and drones I didn't vote for him in 2008 or 2012.

In fact, the person I voted for president is a woman. Jill Stein.

You?

Kerry got absolutely creamed here for his vote for the IWR, and for the same reasons that HRC gets called out for.

rig the count in Ohio. I recall very few Dems criticizing Kerry in 2004 for voting for the war. He overcame almost insurmountable odds to beat a sitting president---only to have the election stolen by Ken Blackwell, Rove and the MSM. His war record and his support of the war were counted in his favor in 2004---they made him more electable at a time when people were still scared shitless over 9-11 and wanted a commander in chief who could defend them.

It is very easy to look back a decade and say "I wasn't really scared and no one else was either." But to say that would be to rewrite history. When Sen. Clinton from NY voted for the Iraq resolution, she represented the most scared citizens in the US.

Always amazes me how people forget.

to further discredit her by targeting the skeptics?
Look, these assholes have studied our psychology for Years.....there is no "one perfect single way" to scare the crap out of and/or anger "the masses" as to our collective triggers.

They have, they do and they will continue to do that and target the big ad buys, mailers, messaging, through technology and MSM-via trolling, basically. It's part of what keeps us divided as opposed to honestly focusing on the real issues that binds a Majority of us, regardless of our party affiliations.
Having the masses come to that realization and then begin to work together for the common cause Is their Worst nightmare. They must have assumed that would happen one day as they are sure going out of their way making sure we can't vote...and they're working Up the food chain....

I choose to Ignore all of these sources....ads, robocalls, mailers, emails etc. I have a "mute" button and a recycle bin...I'm not afraid to use them

Notice how MSM Only focuses on the Amount of big money donations and recruitment efforts by the likes of Kochs and Addelson, how much they've Raised, Who their favorite is and NOT so much about the Quality of the candidates on issues? They are trying, imo-to sell Us on the import of Campaign Cash VS important to us stuff like...a candidates work history, their positions, vote history, bank/wall street/CEO etc associations..........as If "we" are also Rich and a part of all that or even stand a chance, these days to ever be included at some point in our futures

MSM talking heads are Wealthy 1% celebs also.
Pick your "outrage" carefully.
All, imho, of course.

13. People projected their politics on Obama.

His main campaign slogan was 'Hope and Change' so it was pretty easy to think Obama represented whatever people wanted him to represent. So when that does not come true it is some cabinet official's responsibility or Bush holdovers or Putin or a rogue official. People from Chicago who watched what he did in the Illinois state senate (nothing) and what he said (whatever the Leader Emil Jones told him to) are not surprised.

can complete the peaceful revolution....patience.

Time is on the side of liberalism; incremental changes on emergent matters and preventing the cons and their media from eroding past gains can do for now.

Remember how long it took the French to complete their violent revolution?

Bitching about Obama and Hillary and don't look any further. If Obama got a minimum wage increase bill on his desk he would sign it. If Hillary is president and a minimum wage increase came across her desk she would sign it.

No other president has had the GOP and his own party work against him as this one. Think Bibi Netanyahu would have been invited to play president on Bill's watch?

You will see people angrily blaming Obama, including myself if you read my journal, but we have no illusions about who said "we came, we saw, he died" in Libya, or who did not tell her husband to shut the hell up when he called Obama a "wuss" for not going into war with Syria, or who wrote that best seilling book which was basicaly the "I wanted to go to war with Syria but Obama would not let me" book of the "hard choices" she wants to make.
