...alleging that the violence began because white people were calling protestors "n******" and calling whites protesting with blacks "n***** lovers" and some of those white people were in their cars shouting those insults as they drove by and finally some of the black people had had enough and started pulling them out of their cars and roughing them and their cars up. It all escalated from there, with help from the Baltimore PD harassing kids as they left the high school and, after having rocks hurled at them, hurling those rocks back at the kids.

they are PLANNING on something happening, not on PREVENTING it. They WANT it to happen. They are daring you. Been there, experienced it first hand in the 1960s. Plus ça change, plus ça même chose.......or something like that.

And it talks about "Douglas students, in huge herds," but then says that "no kids were around yet except about 20."

I'm just trying to understand . . .

Hate to be critical at a horrible time like this, but . . . busses? This is a teacher, and doesn't know that the things school kids ride in are BUSES, not busses. To "buss" is an old-fashioned way to say "kiss." I despair for the English language, as well as for the incendiary violence that Baltimore has produced.
