FOX News on riots of December 1773

Fox News, December, 1773: "Why would people destroy their own ships and throw their own perfectly good tea into the Boston Harbor? They call it a 'tea party,' and say they have complaints against the government, but there is no excuse for this kind of behavior. If they could calm down and simply reason with King George, they could come to agreement. In a moment, we'll be back to discuss personal responsibility with a representative from the Tory Institute. But first, a message from our friends at the King George Tea Company."

The folks taking part in the Boston Tea Party were white.

Light skinned.

Fox News would be cheering them on.

Remember when Cliven Bundy's crew pointed guns at law enforcement officers? Fox Cheered them on. If black people did the same thing, Fox would brand them as thugs.

Skin color makes a big difference to Fox News.

...The (British) East India Company, a royally-chartered joint-stock company that was so well-connected that to resist the company was to de facto defy the parliament and the crown. Destruction of their property resulted in legislative retaliation and a milotary crackdown.
