The AP is incorrectly reporting that Jay Bakker is supporting Amendment 1 in No. Carolina

Which is false. I was surprised when I read this excerpt:

Supporters of the amendment responded with marches, television ads and speeches, including one by Jay Bakker, son of late televangelists Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker. The Rev. Billy Graham was featured in full-page newspaper ads backing the amendment.

ABC Link to AP Story

But this is not the case. He has been speaking out against Amendment 1. His own website has this to say:

Pastor Jay Bakker will be in North Carolina speaking out against Amendment One, which according to the ballot in North Carolina is a “constitutional amendment to provide that marriage between one man and one woman is the only domestic legal union that shall be valid or recognized in this State.”
