Hillary NEEDS a reason to be a populist the same way Obama said "make me do it"

I could explain in detail but most get it

be a little worried about Bernie. I keep hearing it's good he's running because it will push her to the left, but IF SHE HAS TO BE PUSHED to the left. tell me WHY??

And it's not really LEFT, it's PROGRESSIVE and NOT DLC!

I will be interested to see if his candidacy has the desired effect of raising the issues of most concern to the people, or if he will have his character assassinated and his principles dragged through the mud. But the larger issue is whether his candidacy will make any difference in policy, or just provide talking points for the other politicians which will be ignored after the election. Of Sanders's sincerity I have little doubt, but I'm not so sanguine about others.

I love a good, old-fashioned post hoc ergo prompter hoc fallacy. It allows editorialists to pretend their powers of prophecy are still intact, and the fan base to pre-validate any biases they hold. Win-win!
