And it's not really LEFT, it's PROGRESSIVE and NOT DLC!

(17,205 posts)I will be interested to see if his candidacy has the desired effect of raising the issues of most concern to the people, or if he will have his character assassinated and his principles dragged through the mud. But the larger issue is whether his candidacy will make any difference in policy, or just provide talking points for the other politicians which will be ignored after the election. Of Sanders's sincerity I have little doubt, but I'm not so sanguine about others.
