to place limits on speech?

I'm making this very simple. There's actually several more questions I'd like to ask, but I'll stick with that basic one.
This is, of course, in reference to Pamela Geller and her Mohammed cartoon contest- or hatefest, if you will. So by asking the poll question, what I'm indirectly asking, is should Geller and others of her ilk, be charged with hate speech should they put on such contests?
