Hillary is peanuts compared to Bernie's biggest opponent...the MSM

I knew this would be the case even before he announced his candidacy for President. He is too articulate. His arguments make sense. He has the ability to energize the democratic base while also appealing to swing voters, and maybe even some moderate republicans. This is dangerous for those who want to control our politicians.

In other words, he's a THREAT to the corporate ownership of our democracy. That includes the corporations that now own the media.

Sure, MSNBC will have him on; but he's singin' to the choir on MSNBC. In the meantime, other stations are calling him "fringe" and brushing him off as "not a viable candidate". The discussion becomes whether or not his real motive is to force Hillary to sound more populist - without him present to weigh in on the discussion.

NO! NO! NO! WE CANNOT ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN!!!

WE MUST DEMAND - NONSTOP DEMAND - THAT BERNIE BE GIVEN EQUAL AIR TIME.

1. Remember the Dean Scream, the MSM distorted and scandalized that to basically collapse Dean

It was the ugliest indication I had seen back then that the MSM virtually picks and chooses the winner of the presidency:

2. I remember it all too well. What a lot of people still don't know about the Dean Scream
Tue May 5, 2015, 12:11 PM
May 2015

is that he grabbed a media mic - it was tied directly to the media sound; that's why it sounded that way. To the people in the ballroom, it sounded normal volume.

10. Why would you want to ruin a perfectly good conspiracy theory?

I've been told -- here -- that the media INTENTIONALLY changed the audio.

4. And that's why Bernie's campaign will depend on social media and viral campaigning.

Don't expect any serious attention from the MSM prior to a groundswell of support through other outlets. HOWEVER, it can't hurt to at least make the MSM aware that we are watching and are not fooled by their attempts to manipulate the primary. That's why FourScore's admonition is important to support.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if Bernie continues to gain huge momentum through the internet and social media. That would be truly historic (as well as a powerful argument why net neutrality is so important).

8. Except that Dean had already collapsed...

..BEFORE the Scream. He came in a mediocre third in Iowa, and had an incompetent team in New Hampshire. The only reason the media picked up on "the scream" was because it was the only notable think about his campaign.

propaganda and management. Within a week, they created the "Dean scream" using out of context and phony microphone setups to make it appear that Dean was unstable. In one to two weeks, Dean went from front-runner to out of the race.

Also, they are already having him on because he admits to being a "socialist", albeit a democratic socialist. He won't convince very many voters from their viewers anyway - Bernie doesn't hate enough for them.

And..the NJ msnbc number is incorrect. It's not a private residence of a really nice AA woman. I told her what it is about ....Bernie Sanders and she may get lots of calls cuz he's being ignored by the msm. She said...oh...I got it! She was happy! Told her to brace herself if she gets lots of calls!

as any kind of reliable and credible resource for whats going in politics and everything else actually relevant to "our" collectives lives.

I no longer have any expectations and hope that they will ever change. Corporate Monopolies have essentially ended the original (as I understand it) intent of the Fourth Estate.

One less reliable viewer here.
