and how far back we NEED to go! Teddy was responsible for the law (and hence regulations) that protected us from monopolies, created 'my' agency (and then others) which now barely limps along.

TR was one of the nation's early imperialists, an unashamed war monger who relished killing. He was instrumental in the creation of the American empire. Is that really what you want to compare Sanders to?

However, I think the comparison on the list is fine. Also, most Americans know who Teddy is and this could drive name recognition.

I knew someone what would mention that, and I'm glad you did.
