1) They used Ken "The Witch Hunter" Starr to kill the office of the independent counsel.

2) They started a domestic spying program (Cheney, 2001 before 9-11) so that they would have dirt on anyone who attempts to call them out on anything including members of the press

and 3) They eliminated the need to break into their political enemies psychiatrists' offices by making all medical records public via electronic medical records, the oddly named "Patient Privacy Act". Before you or anyone you love sees a doctor for a mental illness, an STD or an addiction disorder, remember, the feds are watching. Even an innocent sexual history could come back to haunt you.
