Same Raison d'être for Vietnam War and TPP

If we don't have the TTPP treaty, America will fall behind China and the dominos will fall. Although the consequences of the Vietnam War were far more severe, these two events have something in common. Our foolish leaders strongly believe that they are important and they could not be more wrong.

What if the dominos do fall? Will Americans be any worse off? Heck no. In fact, they would be much better off without TPP. TPP will sacrifice the jobs of millions of Americans to protect the American Empire just as over 60,000 lives and countless damaged lives were sacrificed for the Vietnam fallacy.

Yes, the empire will suffer. But the Koch brothers and Fraud street are not America. These buffoons have already dragged us into the four trillion dollar Baghdad fiasco. The cost of empire is too high and we can't trust our leaders to make the right move. We're still paying for the empire's mistakes in Iraq.

Let's hope that Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders have the strength to continue to argue against the TPP in the face of Obama's terrible political comments. Let's hope they use kind words and wise arguments to persuade Obama to do the right thing. Because if he doesn't his legacy will be destroyed as none of his supporters on the left will ever forgive him.

Oh, and Hillary Clinton: Please pledge to never support TPP.

i think you hit on something -- we might be to a point where trust (whether we trust our pols to be on our side) is more important than any other attribute.
