I don't support traditional marriage. I support marriage. Inclusive, loving and available to all Americans - whether gay, straight or bisexual.
That's the way it should have been, the way it should be and I hope, one day, the way it will be.

(18,672 posts)but I support gay marriage. Marriage between a man and a woman started off as a property exchange - nothing sacred about trading off a human being and using her as a bargaining chip. Gay marriage is starting off fresh, with two people who love each other, wanting to be together, and commit to each other, against all odds. I think that's beautiful, and I damn well support it!
