Letterman and the RW

his Top Ten article from Alternet:
"And so, to recognize his exquisite work in taking down some of the right’s worst, and for being a culture-shifting, groundbreaking, trailblazing, brilliant force in comedy, here’s a look at a few of David Letterman’s best anti-right-wing political moments."

He should now get a Sunday morning political show!

if you know what I mean.

Bonehead, for instance, is not a word I would use for Limpdick, I would use much stronger stuff, but for that very reason he manages to get people to listen, most of whom would tune me out when I called Rush Limbaugh what he really is.

Very clever he is

When I first started posting stuff about Letterman a long time ago, I felt sheepish because I thought somebody might call me on it because the post belonged in The DU Lounge.

Your OP proves it belongs right here.

One of the guests that David had on frequently was Keith Olbermann and they seemed to sincerely like each other. The last time that Keith was on, he talked sports, as had been previously agreed, but I bet David deep down wanted him to mention politics. What was that thing Olbermann did every once in a while when he read a letter of charges against either Bush, Cheney, or some Rep? It had a name, and we knew to listen to the program for sure if it was on...an accusation ??

Anyhows, I wish that MSNBC would offer Letterman the old Keith Spot, opposite O'Reilly, 8:00 pm, at least until the election in 2016.

Wouldn't that be fun????

Because of Comcast, Keith can never go back, I don't think.

But David has worked a year probably to get rid of his contract, whereas if he retired last year when he announced, he may have been forbidden to appear anywhere for a year...I don't know, just guessing...

But if he's free as a bird and could do one show a week, that'd be the place....Or maybe guest on Rachel's program. They got along great, and she hasn't mentioned him much lately.

Whatever, David just can't retire and leave us Progressives all alone in the woods with no one to protect us....

Thanks..
