Wildlife crew near Conroe (TX) removes 9-foot gator from yard

The tale of a boy who cried 'gator played out in Montgomery County Saturday morning.

No one took a little boy seriously when he reported a 250-pound alligator in the front yard.

“The boy is known for being a dreamer and having a big imagination, so no one believed him until the mother walked to the window and saw the 9-foot gator,” said André Coetzee, owner of Wilderness Animal Control, which responded and captured the animal.

The hefty alligator was removed without incident, other than attracting crowds in the neighborhood.
