He is talking facts to the American people. He is not trying to hide behind some political camouflage. He is talking about issues that matter to working people and the middle class.
Without Bernie, it is doubtful whether many issues would be brought up at all? He is moving the Party back to the center by taking a hard left turn.
He is not alone. He has a lot of support. Whether or not it is enough to win a primary somewhere is still to be seen? However, we will see other candidates talk about issues that they normally have a tendency to talk around.
For some odd reason, a lot of Democrats see corporations as suspicious organizations that look to make profits over everything else. The corporations do not change their stripes when they lobby for the TPP. In fact, if you look closely, you can see the big $$ signs in their eyes...
Bernie has come out against the TPP. Hillary has been taking the political temperature of the issue and is expected to address it soon. That could be the issue that separates them in this race? But they will remain civil. However, the issues are going to be debated.
This is how Bernie is helping the Democratic Party, in my opinion. He is helping to guide the Party back to its roots - back to the issues that have always been a part of Democratic Party history.
I would not be surprised at all if Bernie won a primary or two. If he did, all the candidates running in the Democratic primaries would need to re-evaluate where they are going and what they hope to accomplish? I think we will see civilized debates. I hope we see debates.
