Biden and a speech I can't forget

I was busy getting us ready for my sister's funeral the next day, and had Larry King Live on. Joe Biden was his guest.

Biden was a Senator then, and nobody was talking about homeland security because so far, there was no reason to discuss it. We'd had some things happen overseas, but nothing here.

Sen. Biden started talking about his worries about the US not being prepared for attacks at home and said that bombs could be sent here in ships, shipping containers, planes, and listed a few other ways that something bad could happen.. I stopped getting our clothes ready and just concentrated on Biden. It gave me chills to hear him speak.

Next morning, we were getting dressed and had the TV on, and they showed a plane going into the Twin Towers. And then, another plane went into the Twin Towers... All hell was breaking lose. We left for the funeral.

That's all everyone was talking about. It was 9/11/01 and all I could think of was Joe Biden's appearance last night on Larry King. No one had ever mentioned the probability of such a thing happening, except for Joe Biden.

I have held him in extreme respect since then..he's not just a pretty face. I supported him in 2008 until Obama beat him in the polls.. And coincidentally, I believe it was Biden who stepped into Obama's office and encouraged him to run for President because he was impressed with him....

I've told the Larry King thing before, and someone was kind enough to find the segment of 9/10/01 and Sen. Biden's comments were just as I said, prophetic and eerie..

there was not much surprise involved if you believe the extensive foreshadowing in the press.

instead of additional witnesses and corroboration.
how do you spell equal opportunity treachery?
any wonder certain people blame Nader beyond any reasonable measure?
