http://www.politico.com/story/2015/05/grayson-gets-boost-from-conservative-group-118311.htmlThe group announced Tuesday that it would begin airing the ad boosting Grayson and attacking national Democrats favored candidate, Rep. Patrick Murphy on MSNBC and other outlets in Florida, but it didnt specify where the spots would run or for how long or how much.
"Alan Grayson opposes the Export-Import Bank, which spends billions of tax dollars on a handful of giant corporations," the ads narrator says as images of private planes, a limo and stacks of hundred-dollar bills scroll in the background. "Patrick Murphy supports the Ex-Im Bank and wants to funnel billions more to corporate fat cats. Tell your Democratic members of Congress to side with Grayson, not Murphy, and stop the Export-Import Banks outrageous corporate giveaways."
Murphys camp is sure to dispute the description of his intentions in supporting the Ex-Im Bank.
Personally I like the Export Import Bank, and I think Murphy is right on this issue...

(13,685 posts)Progressives are like that. They speak for the disaffected and downtrodden people who are taken advantage of by the elites.
Let the free market decide, or if you like, elect officials who are democratic socialists who will make sure things like the Export Import Bank do not screw over everyone.

(13,685 posts)What is you like about the bansters?

(56,582 posts)I don't know what a "bankster" (assuming that's what you meant) is, so I don't have an opinion on them.
I like a national bank dedicated to increasing American exports. Why the hell don't you?

(9,478 posts)going to show this ad in Florida to use it against Murphy so their conservative nominee can win. The export/import bank "spends" billions of dollars for "fat cat" companies only in the sense that it loans them money AT A PROFIT!!!! That bank makes 8 billion dollars a year for American taxpayers. They've worded it so that you think the American taxpayer "spends" billions, as in "loses" billions, the truth is American taxpayer "spends" as in "loans for a profit".
They're technically accurate, just incredibly misleading.
People like you are the exact people Club for Growth wants. You're uninformed and think everything Grayson or Bernie Sanders does is wonderful and blind to anything another Democrat does.
