Quinnipiac poll: 5 GOP Candidates Tied for First

In perhaps the most evenly-distributed example yet of the divided GOP field, a new Quinnipiac poll found five GOP candidates in a dead heat for first place, with none of them registering any kind of outsized support.

Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, Mike Huckabee, Marco Rubio, and Scott Walker all notched 10% in Quinnipiac’s poll released Thursday.

Less-marquee candidates Carly Fiorina and John Kasich also cracked the top ten, along with a cameo by Donald Trump.

The closest to come to beating Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton in a hypothetical match-up were Rand Paul, who clocks 42% to Clinton’s 46, and Rubio, who also trails by four points. Clinton beat the rest of the field by at least seven points.

More bad news for Bush: 15% responded “no way” to a Bush candidacy, just two points behind joke candidate Trump.

Rand Paul's number when matched with Hillary are a little surprising to me.
