MSNBC bringing up Obama cocaine use, Clinton "inhaling"...to offset Romney's prep school bullying

Last edited Fri May 11, 2012, 10:56 AM - Edit history (1)

Richard Lui made the remarks, filling in today on "Jansing & Co." His two guests aren'y buying it. Steve Kornacki from Salon was one of them.

The guests basically said when you take Romney's prep school shit, tying the dog to the roof, liking to fire people...when you look at the "big picture," there's a consistency. It's not like he was a bully in high school and got over it.

Looks like today is "Defend Mitt Romney Day" on MSNBC.

On edit: Richard Lui made the remarks, filling in today on "Jansing & Co."

You're absolutely right, it WAS offensive. But so far, that's the tone so far on MSNBC today...two shows in a row have stepped up to defend Romney.

Obama trying coke, Clinton smoking weed, and even (yes) Dubya's drinking didn't physically hurt anyone else.

Romney committing assault and battery, on the other hand?

wasn't little boots alcohol and cocaine use. I read he was a bully drunk. But, it's like comparing apples and oranges. Did any of them constantly publicly heckle someone, humiliate them and then get all physical on the victim?

What the corporate media has accomplished in the past thirty years, besides dumbing down the populace, has thrown logic out the window.

No new bombshells from the past coming out every week like it is going to be for Romney.

Just wait until this starts to get good.

Romney did the bullying.

That's the plain truth of the matter.

Over lunch, Barry, who was 9 at the time, sat at the dining table and listened intently but did not speak. When he asked to be excused, Ann directed him to ask the hostess for permission. Permission granted, he got down on the floor and played with Bryant’s son, who was 13 months old. After lunch, the group took a walk, with Barry running ahead. A flock of Indonesian children began lobbing rocks in his direction. They ducked behind a wall and shouted racial epithets. He seemed unfazed, dancing around as though playing dodge ball “with unseen players,” Bryant said. Ann did not react. Assuming she must not have understood the words, Bryant offered to intervene. “No, he’s O.K.,” Ann said. “He’s used to it.”

Obama can win a LOT of pro-pot folks and Liberterians by just rescheduling cannabis to the same schedule alcohol and tobacco are.

That's assuming that one considers using drugs to be self abuse. Which I don't regarding marijuana, And my god, in the 80"s nearly everyone I knew had at least tried cocaine, it was the prevailing culture.

Any rational person can see through the comparisons and understand that Romney's behavior is sick and hurtful to others. And for those incapable of rational thought, they have made up their minds even before the comparisons to Clinton and Obama. I want this story to be repeated ad infinitum until it becomes permanently tattooed to Romney's public image.
