I like the part about breaking up the banks that are too big...

(4,299 posts)During Martin OMalleys campaigns for governor, more than 60 percent of the cash he raised came from outside of Maryland.
The largest contributor to Martin OMalleys 2006 campaign for governor was developer David S. Brown Enterprises, which gave $25,500.
Edward St. John was fined in 2008 for giving more than the legal limit to OMalleys campaign. The fine was levied around the same time that OMalley announced a highway project serving one of St. Johns properties.
As DGA chairman, Martin OMalley received widespread criticism when the group accepted large amounts of money from companies with business before Maryland lawmakers.

(2,792 posts)He used the actual names "Goldman Sachs" and "Clinton."
In his announcement speech, O'Malley said the head of Goldman Sachs said he could live with either Bush or Clinton.
I don't think Goldman Sachs will be contributing to O'Malley's PAC.

(146,336 posts)will be much closer in their positions than anyone thinks. There will be differences, but not enormous ones. Any of the current Democratic candidates would be a fine President. It's a matter of getting one of them elected that's the issue.
We could lose in 2016. It could happen very easily. That would be a disaster, frankly.
Anyhow, I'll gladly vote for any of these three candidates. I'll campaign hard for any of the three, too. We must win in 2016!

(11,495 posts)Like you I will cast my vote for the nominee, and any of these three would be a millions times better than any republican that might run.
