He was really too young to die.

So he went with it, delivered a moving speech and contributed to the young Yale graduates a valuable lesson in humility...now they know what they didn't know at the time. Joe Biden is a hero for doing that...those young Yalies thinking the world is their oyster, now know it can vanish in no time at all...worth thinking about...

(268,998 posts)I did notice that he was out of the spotlight for a while. Death of a child is painful but I'm betting Joe has fewer regrets than most - he was there for those boys.

I wish we could all just surround him and hug him. Its not fair a good man has to bury two of his children.
