Caitlyn, the dog that was found with her muzzle taped shut late last month, is reportedly doing great and is ready to enter foster care.

“She’s got a little bit of skin that might slough off her nose, but I think she is OK to go (into foster care),” said Dr. Henri Bianucci from Veterinary Speciality Care in Mount Pleasant, where Caitlyn has been recovering.

She will likely need some continued care, but she doesn’t appear to have any more big surgeries in her future, Bianucci said.

“For the most part, she’s going to be good to go in the next couple of days. She has a few wounds that will take a little more time,” he said.

You can see from her pix that the swelling is almost completely gone. I've read earlier this week that she ended up losing less than 1/8th of her tongue and they expect her to have 90% functionality there
