She was my best friend, and biggest cheerleader, and even after 25 years, I miss her like it was yesterday.

I'm sorry about your mom, I know it's not easy. I miss mine everyday, she's been gone for 11 1/2 years now. She had Ovarian Cancer. I will second your sentiments, cherish the time. You never know what day will be your last with those you love and hold dear.

more sinister disease. In my Mom's day, there was no way to prepare for it. You watch your loved one being slowly robbed of their very essence, and everything that made them who they were.

At least we all have each other, and our wonderful memories of beloved Moms. It's not the best of all worlds, but it sure beats having nothing.
