11. So can I. I finally gave up.

My hair has been wanting to turn white since college, which I started noticing an occasional little wiry gray hair sticking out from the rest of what was once dark brown hair. It was pretty obvious. So I'd pluck it out. Kept happening. And there were always more. I finally gave up pulling them out (afraid I'd go bald at that rate) and started dying it. But the problem was, it just got worse - faster than I could keep up with it. Soon enough it meant I was going to have to go to the hairdresser's at least once a month - and for several hours at a time, not to mention the expense, if I didn't want to look like I had a big broad skunk stripe where I parted my hair down the middle. My hair guy suggested we start going lighter brown just so my "center divider" wasn't so noticeable - because I'd always try to prolong not getting it fixed.

Finally - fuck it. I just let go and gave up. I was amazed at how fast my "center divider" took over. In no time at all, I had a full head of white hair. I actually like it A LOT! Now I wonder what took me so long to let it go and be what it wanted to be.

Withers, age 76, joined the HoF with such artists and Joan Jett and the Black Hearts, Green Day, and the Paul Butterfield Blues Band. At age 76, he commented how happy he was to be the youngest solo artist to be inducted into this years class.

It's a nice applause line, but it's a cheap ripoff for someone who we are to believe is highly intelligent.

I am sure she and her advisers were thinking of how to make some statement about her age but make it funny. Doesn't take a genius to come up with that line.

Also her appearance, demeanor and strong clear voice suggests she is great shape physically and mentally.
