i think what enhances the aca's legitimacy in the eyes of the people is that its opponents have pretty much run out of desperate challenges to it.

plus, the politics of the aca now having million as its constituency, many in red states, makes it harder for republicans to rail against it. or at least, they'll be talking more about tweaking it and less about repealing it.

stitutional (withholding all federal Medicaid funds from states that refuse to expand Medicaid), That decision did not seem to affect many opinions on the right. I personally thought the SCOTUS got it backwards, but I was happy for the people who got coverage.
