Yes, for the most part democrats have been great on social issues.

If only too many weren't all Third Way/Wall Street - that's a problem.

Obama, Pelosi, others - have thankfully "evolved" on marriage equality and some but not enough on pot. They stand for racial equality.

But Obama and Pelosi stood with the right on the TPP/TISA, etc. Obama, Pelosi, and Hillary are so beholden to Wall Street.

That's the problem and the totally in the tank for Obama/Clinton can't or won't see that.

So yes, it's great that gay couple can marry - but will Wall Street/Bug Business/ The Defense Industry leave a few cents for them?

So, every once and a while they throw a bone our way to shut us up. The parties are almost identical when it comes to economics and war.

Nothing stops people from forming other parties. If "the People" were really so sick of both, then they'd make other parties.

You think the parties are enshrined in the Constitution? They are not. They are informal organizations to get candidates elected.

To share in your ad hominem, you are the ignorant one. You actually don't understand that you are free to create a whole new party? If the majority didn't like the two dominant parties, they could join.

You really think we are not free that way? Your ignorance is absolutely astounding.

And I find the cartoon to be whiny. Go and do something, start another party and quit whining.

People who are really sick of both major parties, as they stand now, can more readily transform one of them than they can start a new party and expect any success.

The attitude evinced in the cartoon, of simply dismissing both major parties because of their defects, is fundamentally wrong.
